Stained but Still Chosen: When God Puts You On Anyway
“Trust in the LORD, and do good; dwell in the land, and feed on His faithfulness…” – Psalm 37:3-5

Imagine this…
I pulled out my suit this morning, sharp as ever—but there it was. A stain. A blemish. Right there, where everyone could see it. I had two choices: throw it back in the closet or put it on anyway.
And I heard God whisper: “That’s how I use you.”
Because here’s the truth—God doesn’t wait for spotless suits. He uses stained vessels. He anoints flawed people. He empowers the broken to walk in boldness.
That suit, despite the stain, still carried the look. Still turned heads. Still fit the assignment for the day. And that’s YOU.
You may be stained by sin, pain, or your past, but God still chose to put you on.
Just ask Moses.
A murderer turned deliverer. He stuttered, doubted, argued with God—but he still stood in front of Pharaoh. God didn’t iron out all his issues first. He simply said, “I Am is with you.”
God didn’t wait for Moses to be perfect—He waited for him to be committed.
You’re not disqualified by your dirt.
You’re defined by your destiny.
You weren’t anointed to sit on a shelf.
You were called to be worn, used, and displayed for God’s glory—stains and all.
Just like Adam,
God formed you, breathed in you, and then said, “Now get to work.”
He didn’t wait for Adam to attend Eden University or clean up his résumé. He gave him purpose immediately. Garden to tend. Animals to name. Ground to break. Fruit to multiply.
That same breath is in you.
You’ve been making excuses for too long.
You’re delaying destiny because you think you’re not clean enough, ready enough, smart enough, holy enough.
But what if your stain is the testimony that will make someone else believe?
Jesus didn’t die to keep you on a hanger. He died to clothe you in righteousness—even while your humanity still wrestles with imperfection.
He said in Mark 9:23,
“Everything is possible for one who believes.”
But believing ain’t passive. Belief without movement is just a wish.
Commitment is when you believe enough to move.
TODAY’S TRUTH:
You’re stained, but still selected.
You’re broken, but still breathing.
You’re limping, but still leading.
You’re doubtful, but still dangerous in God’s hand.
So today, put on the suit. The one with the stain.
Let God wear you. Walk out your calling. Tend your garden. Name your animals. Part your Red Sea. Slay your Goliath.
Because when God puts you on, greatness goes with you.
